This tenth title in the Lecciones Juanelo Turriano de Historia de la Ingeniería [Juanelo Turriano Lectures on the History of Engineering] collection is now available in our Digital Library.

El ingeniero espía [Engineer as spy] contains the lectures delivered on the occasion of the eponymous course held in 2017 under the joint sponsorship of Spain’s National Distance University and Fundación Juanelo Turriano.

The travelling exhibition entitled Artifex. Roman engineering in Spain, organised by Fundación Juanelo Turriano in conjunction with the Centre for Historic Studies on Public Works and Urban Planning (CEHOPU) - Centre for Public Works Studies and Experimentation (CEDEX) and the provincial government of Soria opened on 25 May at the Magna Mater de Cuevas Museum in the provincial capital.

The showing, one of the events commemorating the 2150 anniversary of Numancia’s resistance and fall, will be open to the public cost-free through December.

The First International Film Fest on Industrial Heritage and Cultural Landscapes will be held in the Spanish region of Asturias from 20 to 23 September 2018. INCUNA FILM FEST 2018 aims to disseminate knowledge around the tangible and intangible industrial heritage through cinema.

The deadline for submitting communications and posters on Memory, architecture, technology and future, the theme of the International Molinology Conference to be held at Palma de Mallorca on 18-20 October 2018, has been extended to 16 July.
