Board of Trustees News At its meeting of 1 June 2026, Fundación Juanelo Turriano’s Board of Trustees appointed David Fernández-Ordóñez as its new president. He will be taking over from José María Goicolea, who has been named director of the Foundation. Furthermore, Claudio Olalla Marañón, outgoing secretary of the Board, will now serve as vice-president, succeeding José Antonio González Carrión, who served notice of his decision to step down from the Board. Bernardo Revuelta Pol, who directed the Foundation from 2006 to 2026, is joining the board and will serve as secretary. Advisory Commission members Rosario Martínez Vázquez de Parga and Javier García-Gutiérrez Mosteiro will also be occupying seats on the Board. These appointments and resignations are effective as of 1 July 2026. The Foundation thanks all the officers concerned for their valuable work and their commitment to the institution during their time in office.
