Collaboration agreement with the City of Segovia
The Municipality of Segovia and Fundación Juanelo Turriano, respectively represented by Ms Clara Luquero de Nicolás, mayor, and Mr Victoriano Muñoz Cava, President, concluded an agreement on 14 April to build a waterwheel for the roller in the Royal Coinage at Segovia.

Victoriano Muñoz Cava received a honourable mention from the Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers of Western Andalusia
On 19 March the Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers of Western Andalusia distinguished Victoriano Muñoz Cava, former president and former CEO of Acerinox, with an award for his contribution to the industrial development of Andalusia. María José Asensio Coto, regional Director General for Industry of Andalusia awarded the distinction to Victoriano Muñoz Cava.

Jonathan Gil Muñoz, director of the website entitled El Guardarramista, published an article entitled El pozo de nieve de La Granja [The ice well at La Granja] in issue 242 of the journal  Apuntes de la Sierra. The article is based on the book Encerrar el frío: el pozo de nieve de La Granja y el aprovechamiento tradicional de la nieve en el Guadarrama [Keeping the cold inside: the ice well at La Granja Royal Site and the traditional ice industry in the Guadarrama Mountains], co-published by Fundación Juanelo Turriano.

Madrid School of Architecture’s quarrying workshop. Exhibition
The exhibition entitled The Madrid School of Architecture’s quarrying workshop: ten years of experimental archaeology will be open to the public from 16 April through 7 May 2015.
On Friday, 17 April, art historian Javier Gómez Martínez will deliver a lecture entitled Lecciones de cantería en la Nueva España [Quarrying lessons in New Spain].
