De Re Metallica: engineering, iron and architecture. Summer course
Fundación Juanelo Turriano is organising a summer course entitled De Re Metallica: engineering, iron and architecture, to be delivered (in Spanish) at the Madrid School of Architecture from 14 to 17 July 2015.
Participants will be eligible for  extracurricular credits or one ECTS elective course credit toward their undergraduate degrees.

Fundación Juanelo Turriano has added the catalogue of the exhibition Lucio del Valle (1815-1874). Engineering and photography to its digital library.

The catalogue addresses some of the most interesting aspects of this engineer’s career, during which he headed works of the significance of the Isabel II Canal, the reform of Madrid’s Puerta del Sol, the road connecting Madrid and Valencia and the futuristic lighthouses on the River Ebro delta.
