Fundación Juanelo Turriano. Visit

On 6 October Fundación Juanelo Turriano Trustees and members of its Advisory Commission visited the Loma de Montijo cemetery in the Spanish province of Burgos, where they adorned José Antonio García-Diego’s grave with flowers to honour the memory of the civil engineer who founded our institution 30 years ago.

One of the monuments they visited was the Loma de Montija stone bridge that opened to traffic in 1918 after works were concluded thanks to funding provided by Luis García-Diego y Casado, among others.
